Blount Fine Foods is deeply rooted in the New England seafood industry. The first family members went to work the Narragansett oyster beds just after the Civil War. In 1880s Eddie B. Blount started an oyster packing firm in West Barrington, Rhode Island.
Jerry Shafir & Chris Nessen start Kettle Cuisine in a converted garage in Revere, MA and hit the streets with eight soups, including our signature New England Clam Chowder.
Maria and Ricardo’s makes authentic and high-quality tortillas using real, simple and wholesome ingredients. The company was founded in 1986 by cousins, Maria and Ricardo, who were one of the first of their time to believe that the best-tasting tortillas came from using natural ingredients resulting with the cleanest recipe possible.
Menelaos Kaloyanides, with his brother George Kaloyanides, came to the United States in 1910. By 1916, Menelaos was running a successful restaurant in Boston, but he wanted to start his own business. So he, along with his brother George and his cousin Megaklis Papadopoulos, founded the New England Tea & Coffee Company. Located at Milk and Broad Streets in Boston, they delivered coffee to restaurants all over the city.
Ricker began sharing his fresh-tasting spring water with friends and neighbors, selling clay jugs for 5 cents a gallon. Soon, word spread throughout Maine of the water’s incredible taste — and a regional brand was born.
Polar Beverages can trace its beginnings to a spring water company founded in 1882 and purchased by a distiller named Dennis Crowley to enhance his whiskey business.
